Plantain Salve
This recipe is made from broadleaf (plantago major), or greater plantain leaves grown in my garden. I dry the leaves and then infuse the plant material in fractionated coconut oil to collect all the healing power of the plant.
Plantain slave can be used to help skin heal from a wide variety of things including:
- Flea, horsefly or mosquito bites
- Stinging nettle stings
- Spider bites
- Dry, chapped skin
- Grazes, scratches and small cuts
- Rough or cracked skin
- Rashes and inflamed skin
- Softens and heals scabs
- On pets, if they have scabs, small sores or irritated skin
Ingredients:
Plantain infused fractionated coconut oil, beeswax, rose infused jojoba oil, lavender and chamomile essential oils, and germall plus
