Cardamom (elettaria cardamomum)

Description:

Cardamom has antibacterial properties and may have the ability to help control infections. Tests have shown that essential oil has inhibited the growth of pathogens including Salomella, Staf, and Candda. It could lower blood sugar and inflamation. It also promotes oral health and prevents the bacteria that cause gingivitis. It is also said to improve heart and liver health. Cardamom can ease nausea and vomiting and suppress the growth of some cancers such as oral, lung, myeloma, and skin cancer.

Precautions:

Pregnant and breast-feeding women should not use corn ower. Allergy to ragweed, daisies, and related plants: Corn ower may cause an allergic reaction in people who are sensitive to the Asteraceae/Compositae plant family. Members of this family include ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds, daisies, and many others. If you have allergies, be sure to check with your healthcare provider before using cornflower.
